A 5- hour immersive weaving experience rooted in ancestral practice and intentional creation. Participants construct a large-scale 18” textile portrait using burlap, and yarn through the Flow Method.

For our final Women’s Weaving Circle of the season, we’re returning to where this style of work began.

This gathering is inspired by Sacred Sisters, the very first full-scale burlap and yarn portrait I created in this style, an ode to sisterhood, connection, and women gathering in community.

During this circle, you’ll create your own Sacred Sisters inspired textile portrait using burlap, yarn, fabric, hand stitching, and dimensional fiber techniques.

This circle will also be one hour longer than our previous gatherings, giving us five full hours to create, connect, enjoy tea and refreshments, and share a full-course plant-based meal together.

It will also be the last Women’s Weaving Circle I host in my home until spring, making this a special closing gathering for the season.

This is not a casual craft session. It is an intention focused, meditative process that trains patience, precision, and presence. 

Your Experience Includes:

• 18” embroidery hoop

• Yarn (varied tones and textures)
• Beads and adornments
• Needles, thread, tools
• Guided instruction through the Flow Method
• Plant-based refreshments and herbal teas plus a beautiful full course meal/dinner party

• Your completed textile portrait to take home.

No previous sewing or embroidery experience is required.

Every woman will begin with the same inspiration, but your finished piece is meant to become your own through your choice of color, texture, and details.

Sacred Sisters: Woven Together — an ode to sisterhood, connection, and the threads that bring us together.

Structure:

• Grounding and intention setting
• Introduction to materials and technique
• Guided weaving and construction
• Independent creation with support
• Closing integration

The outcome is not replication. Each piece emerges distinct. The process reorganizes attention, slows internal noise, and builds tolerance for detail and completion.

Registration is nonrefundable. If you’re unable to attend and notify me at least 48–72 hours in advance, your registration may be transferred one time to a future Women’s Weaving Circle, space permitting. Same-day cancellations and no-shows are not eligible for transfer.
